PLTa Advogados Associados (“PLTa”) is committed to protecting the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy is intended to demonstrate PLTa’s compliance with applicable personal data protection regulations. PLTa complies with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR), as well as with the national legislation in force. Furthermore, under the terms of Article 92 of the Statute of the Bar Association, personal data is also covered by the duty of professional secrecy.

It should be noted that in electronic communications, there’s always a risk of unauthorized access by third parties.

If PLTa uses third parties for data processing, it will only do so with guarantees of full compliance with the applicable rules.

PLTa may update this Privacy Policy at any time, which changes being duly communicated via the website. Please note that, in certain cases, the data subject’s request may not be immediately satisfied, namely when there are legal obligations that require the retention of data. The user always retains the right to lodge a complaint with the National Data Protection Commission (www.cnpd.pt).
